Bushel + Peck Photo was founded following the start of the pandemic by Lacy Alewel, an experienced marketer and photographer with over 13 years of specialization in weddings, family, and newborn portraits. Bushel + Peck Photo was born out of Lacy Alewel’s entrepreneurial spirit and her commitment to providing solutions to the challenges she faced as a solo photographer.

The key innovations she introduced included addressing the limitations of availability and stability by assembling a dedicated team of photographers. Additionally, recognizing the varied tastes of clients, she aimed to offer multiple style options to appeal to a broader audience and provide customized pricing through her bespoke package builder and a unique curated approach to learning and applying the preferences of clients to achieve an amazingly personalized product.

Today, it stands as a testament to her innovative approach, with expansion plans across the US, being published in esteemed bridal magazines, and named the Best of The Knot in 2023 and 2024.
