Frequently Asked Portrait Session Questions
Get Instant pricing on your custom portrait session with by selecting the location, date, and session length, these sessions are tailored to fit your unique vision. Pricing is based on the options you choose, ensuring your session fits your exact needs.
- Use our package builder to customize your ideal portrait package.
- Submit the form to proceed with booking.
- We’ll reach out to confirm your date and availability.
- Once confirmed, you’ll receive formal booking information, which includes a contract, questionnaire, and payment instructions for your deposit: 50% of the package cost is required to reserve your session date. The remaining balance is due one week before your session
Due to the high demand and varying locations of sessions, we cannot guarantee a specific photographer before booking. However, we take great care in matching you with the best available photographer based on your project and style preferences.
For Curated Sessions, you’ll be introduced to your photographer before your session and provided with detailed session information, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors or subtle patterns often work well, and coordinating outfits with your partner or family can create a cohesive look.
For longer sessions, clients may bring a change of clothes for variety, but keep in mind that there may be limited access to changing areas depending on location. We recommend layering when possible!
A few days after your portrait session we will share sneak peeks . Your full proofing gallery of edited images will be delivered with-in 1-3 weeks of your session date!
As long as the venue/ location allows; Absolutely! We welcome pets to join in on the fun. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
We ask that you plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance to your session start time to allow for potential traffic or delays. While we acknowledge unforeseen circumstances, please note that sessions will conclude at the scheduled time to avoid any lateness to other appointments or due to sunset time for evening sessions.
No refunds are given due to lateness.
At Bushel + Peck Photo, we understand that unexpected changes may arise, and we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests when possible according to the below policies.
Curated Portrait Sessions:
If you need to reschedule your session for any reason, including illness, any payments made will be credited towards one future date with Bushel + Peck Photo. Rescheduling within 7 days of the session will incur a $50 fee, subject to our availability at the time of the request.
Cancellation:
If you cancel your session before the scheduled date, any non-refundable deposits will be retained.
Weather-Related Reschedule:
In the event of inclement weather, you may reschedule once at no additional cost to the next available date on the same day type (weekday or weekend). Alternatively, you can choose to book an indoor option, with any extra costs covered by the client. For predicted rain, extreme heat, or cold, we reserve the right to reschedule sessions to ensure the safety of our clients, photographers, and equipment while maintaining the quality of your photos.
